Charming Oxford Cottage

Decent size property, close to transport links into Oxford. Positive: Great location and the size of the property really makes it good value for money. Negative: If you are a light sleeper, you may need ear-plugs (main bedroom) due to intermittent noise from the boiler.

Comfortable and convenient stay! Positive: The property was easy to find by car and public transport and simple and quick to get in and out of Oxford centre - there was a bus route just a couple minutes walk from the house. Plus a pub just down the road, easy walking distance. Quiet location. The house was extremely spacious, more so than we thought! Very comfortable and warm. We stayed whilst on a conference in Oxford so spent the evenings at the house very comfortably. Negative: Unfortunately in the master bedroom, the boiler was very loud when we had the heating on one night as it was pretty cold. We boosted the heating ourselves but it was hard to sleep and stay toasty during the night in the middle of winter. The heating was on a set timer for morning and evening from the owners so would advise leaving it as is for less noise during the night! Otherwise, a very quiet location :)

Positive: Close to a pub and had a fire. Negative: Outside was a bit scruffy and difficult to find the charge point.
